The Rotary Club of Austin North by Northeast (NXNE) is inviting members of the Rotary E-Club of Central Texas, along with family and friends, to roll up their sleeves and make a difference at its 9th Annual Rise Against Hunger Meal Packaging Event on Saturday, November 14, 2026.
Over the years, NXNE Rotarians and volunteers have packaged an incredible 81,064 meals, and this year they are working toward packaging another 10,000 meals for people facing hunger around the world.
This is a wonderful opportunity for our E-Club members to come together in person, enjoy fellowship, and put Service Above Self into action. Whether you come on your own or bring family and friends, every set of helping hands will bring the effort one step closer to its goal.
The current Rise Against Hunger registration page lists the volunteer meal-packaging shift from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, with setup volunteers beginning at 8:30 a.m. The event will be held at 9041 Research Blvd., #100, Austin, Texas.
So, grab a hairnet, bring your enthusiasm, and join fellow Rotarians for a morning of fellowship and service. Together, we can help provide thousands of nutritious meals and make a meaningful difference in the fight against hunger.
