The Star of the Show Saturday at the Celebration and Installation was Flora held by Martha Myers.
Welcome to  the Monthly Rotary E-Club Bulletin of all the news of the Flexible, Friendly, Fun loving Rotary E-Club!  Reading the Bulletin is considered a meeting and a way of knowing what our club is doing.
Celebration and Installation of Officers
https://youtu.be/HE32RWkNoyo A great time was had by all.  Dar Joy Krenek started the program off singing and if you want to warm your heart please enjoy the Youtube.  Flora was the star of the day.  We sang  (and danced) along with Dar Joy and when I shared that some Rotary Clubs were singing clubs, Jerry assured us that we still will not be a singing club!  Everyone met the recipient of the District 5870 Career and Technical Education Scholarship, Alan Reyes  and his family. Erik and Kent received  Paul Harris Awards.  We surprised Josh Bohls (our son) with a Paul Harris Fellowship award.  Erik led the 4-way test in Spanish (and English) and gave his classification  talk.  Erik named Tricia Johnson Rotarian of the Month.
PDG Betty Lara installed our new officers including Mary Ann and Twyla on zoom.  Several members were on zoom but sadly the sound was not great.
Betty and Adam Lara visit the Longhorns at the 9E Ranch.  Betty is a Longhorn and Adam is a Red Raider so he wasn't as excited.
Erik is enjoying this Polio Plus mug he received for serving on the board this last year.  Thank you Erik!
Alen Reyes receives the Technical Scholarship.

Four Way Test Contest
I am excited to report that Dan Leal, Betty Lara and Gene Davenport are already working on the Four Way Test Contest.  So far, the way I am understanding how it will work ( and the committee will work out the details) is that there will be prizes of $1000 for the first place winner and $500 for second.  There is also talk of how to raise the money.  My hope is that it can be open to High School students anywhere so our members who live anywhere could go to a nearby high school and invite them to participate. The contest would be conducted on zoom so location will not matter.

Supporting the Environment Committee
Reid Luedecke , Joan Bohls, Linda Tyler, Tricia Johnson are on this new committee looking for projects.
Fundraising
There is now a fundraising committee (Gene Davenport, Reid Luedecke, Dan Leal, Joan Bohls).  Our club needs money for prizes for the Four Way Test Contest.   So if you have ideas, we are all ears!!
One idea is to do a Bat Cruise and charge about $50+ above what it cost us to do the event and invite other Rotarians and if there is room invite friends.  We had such a great time when we last did a Bat Cruise. Now that a team of us know how to do an easy Taco Salad, we could even make it a Dinner Cruise.
Joining other clubs fundraisers was another idea.
Also, at this time, we would like to request if you are excited about the Four Way Test Contest that you make a donation to RESCUSA ( on our web site rotaryeclubcentex.org where it says "Donate") and make a note that it is for the Four Way Test Contest.
Donation to Liberian Cancer Society
We were pleased to hear from Rotarian President Pauline S Kwabo that the Rotary Club of Sinkor was able to present a check for $1500 to the Liberian Cancer Society.  The Rotary E-Club donated $1000 towards the needs for screening and treating cervical Cancer.
