Each November, Rotary recognizes Rotary Foundation Month, an opportunity to celebrate the extraordinary work made possible through The Rotary Foundation and to encourage Rotarians to support that work.
Gifts to The Rotary Foundation are transformed into service projects that create meaningful, lasting change in communities close to home and around the world. Foundation grants support humanitarian projects, scholarships, training, and other initiatives that address important community needs.
Whether the need is improving access to clean water, strengthening education, fighting disease, supporting economic opportunity, or promoting peace, our contributions help Rotary members turn ideas for service into action.
Examples of how your investment in The Rotary Foundation can make a difference:
- $3 can help protect a child against polio. Rotary International lists $3 as the average cost to fully protect one child against polio.
- $50 can help maintain water filters that fight waterborne illness and contribute to healthier communities.
- $200 can help create economic opportunity by replacing livestock for people whose livelihoods have been affected by disasters.
These are simple examples of something much bigger: when Rotarians give together, our individual contributions become a powerful force for good.
